Oh God, lost in the world we are, guide us through.
Who and why are we here, why we never knew?
No school, no teacher taught us what life is all about,
Confused we are, you are the one who knew all about!
God, why are we born, where do souls come from?
Why do we die, when we die do souls continue to roan?
Why is it that births bring smile?
Why do we cry when loved ones die?
Tell us why is there pain, why are hurts and sorrows?
If todays bring pain, then why are there tomorrows?
Life was fun when babies we were!
Now burdens of life, forever to scare!
Why do we get old, the fact we don’t want to be told?
Why do bodies get wrinkles when we start getting old?
Why does old age have to bring gray hair?
Why can’t they stay as black as they were?
Why we seek beauty in bodies that once shall fall?
Though eternal is the beauty of the soul?
God if You are the Father and we are your kids,
Tell us why here we suffer and you stay up there?

When we will look back in the past we may find 2020 having gone down in history as an year full of hardship caused by pain and suffering. Suffering caused by wide-spread sickness, loss of lives, loss of jobs, separation from own families and a long term uncertainty whether life may return to normal or not. Never before in life have we witnessed such hardship that may have caught almost entire world in its grip. But the phrase: “These days will pass too.” Comes to mind to give us some solace.
