Lives Affected by 'Anaamat' Movement
Let us pause a little from our routine to pay respect to those who LOST THEIR LIVES FOR NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN. Long going demands for 'અનામત' have been ongoing among different groups within our Country since very long. It is not the intention of this post to opine whether such demands are appropriate or inappropriate, because that will be a whole new topic in itself with no conclusion. The thrust of this thought is to turn our eyes to how many INNOCENT people lost their valuable lives; lost some of their assets they had. People who met with untimely death, their family LOST EARNING MEMBERS, thereby forcing into financial hardships of how to make two ends meet, how to raise kids, how to furnish for their education and so on. The wives became widows for no fault of their own. And most importantly they will have to live with deep emotional scars in their hearts of losing their loved one who will never return.
There was a time when people used to understand values of life. Now-a-days, life deemed to have no value. There is so much of injustice happening routinely. There are laws, rules and regulations. But they remain in the books of laws with minimal value of implementation and enforcement. Police remain helpless and ineffective. Governments turn blind eyes, may be for the fear of losing vote-banks. Groups and people who see justification in their cause and demands seem to lose the sight of implications that might take place as a result of their rallies to promote their demands. Innocent people are getting killed. People lose their means of earning money because of their means of earning getting burnt and/or damaged to useless conditions. Women lose their life-partners, children lose their fathers or mothers, and the worst part is politics is at the peak in everything that is happening.
And what we are doing? We keep very busy with our routine. We spare a few minutes in making statements criticising such rallies among our friends, show a few images on social media of people getting killed and showing mischief-mongers creating havoc. We have other matters of importance at hand. We somehow find time to post ‘likes’ and writing ‘nice’ in response to groups for their photos, posts and opinions. It is true, those who lost their lives and met with untimely death were not in the list of our friends or groups. But they belong to the same mankind which we belong to. So let us pause a little, offer a prayer for all those, who met with an untimely death, who might belong to the army protecting us on borders, police-force assigned to guard our welfare, reporters tasked to report what is happening around us and those of us who are walking on the roads of life to justify the purpose why we are here. Let us send a humble message to the organizers of such movements like ‘અનામત’ that every life has a value and a message to the government that we are the ones who have selected them to protect us and allow us to live peacefully. It is time to awaken, time to rise above from where we have been and also to give them a hand who are helpless..
May God kindle a light of awakening in our minds, thinking serene in our brains and blessing love in our hearts.

Let Us Walk in Faith in 2021
When we will look back in the past we may find 2020 having gone down in history as an year full of hardship caused by pain and suffering. Suffering caused by wide-spread sickness, loss of lives, loss of jobs, separation from own families and a long term uncertainty whether life may return to normal or not. Never before in life have we witnessed such hardship that may have caught almost entire world in its grip. But the phrase: “These days will pass too.” Comes to mind to give us some solace.
Towards Building a New India
As we progress ahead in the journey of life, and also in the business sector, there may be many challenges on the way. As a part of different communities each of us share the responsibility of achieving success and prosperity.
Why are we here on earth?,
What did we achieve after so many births?
Attachment leads us towards setting wrong priorities and meaningless goals.
Detachment can set examples of 'noble life'
When the Times are tough, Father, You are the only one on the turf !
I find myself all alone when everything seems going wrong.
I Just feel like crying, but can’t find a loving shoulder to lean on.
It is then that I come to Thee, Father to seek solace and peace,
Your child I am, and look up to you Father, for love and inner peace.
