ATTACHMENT:
Getting ourselves attached with relatives, friends, places, pleasures & materialistic things has kept us bound in slavery for the past so many births. This slavery has caused so many problems that we cannot even pin-point who and what we can live without and still can live free like birds. Our clinging with things, fruitless activities, non-productive hobbies and tasks, has wasted valuable time , energy and brain power, leaving us very less time and energy for achieving meaningful accomplishments. Attachment leads us towards setting wrong priorities and meaningless goals.
DETACHMENT:
Now on, let us cultivate 'detachment' from thoughts, activities. people, socializing with groups and media that take us away from fulfilling meaningful goals and keeping us from of achieving important mile stones. Detachment helps us in distracting from senseless, useless activities, from wasting valuable time and allow us to plan a pathway that can lead towards constructive efforts and a meaningful journey. Detachment can set examples of 'noble life' and leaving behind, firm footmarks for our successors to follow.
When the Times are tough, Father, You are the only one on the turf !

It is then that I come to Thee, Father to seek solace and peace,
Your child I am, and look up to you Father, for love and inner peace.
