Why Me ?
This is somewhat like a universal question, which might have occurred to countless people over the world, countless times. Whenever people undergo difficult times in their lives, and hardships keep knocking at their doors, the first question that hits their minds is “Why Me?” This question hits them with a noticeable impact of anger. In many cases the depth of anger is so overwhelming that they fail to keep calm and start complaining to people around them that “why all bad things are happening to me only?” Some even add a few more words to that question like, “Why does it have to be me only?” while ‘broadcasting’ their anger to a much larger audience.
This simply implies that they would rather have others be the victims of ‘difficult times’ and ‘hardship’. They may perhaps be under the impression that if the difficult times they are passing through could shift from them to others, they would be saved themselves from the hardship. If this is really what they are thinking then they must be under a thick cloud of illusion, which may have blindfolded their inner vision and impacted their wisdom with ignorance. This is because difficulties, hardship and tough times are tailored to individual’s own karma. Whatever we do we have to pay the price proportionate to the intensity of our karma, either in our current lifetime or in the births that follow. Despite having the same size of heads, the cap of ‘कर्म-फल’ (result attached to that karma) of one person does not fit on to the head of any other person. Transfers are not allowed in enforcing the Law of Karma.
The most important fact of life is that we come to this earth to rectify our inappropriate and unworthy deeds we may have committed in our previous lives; to gain new and higher experience, thereby enhancing our perception and understanding about this life; to gain new knowledge and removing our ignorance; to perform good deeds which can earn good merits capable of differentiating between right and wrong; to curtail wrong thinking and to refrain from doing wrong and harmful actions and also to help others. These are a few of ‘dos’ and ‘don’ts’ which can sow good seeds of motivational thoughts and also help achieving purity of mind.
We all, during the journey of our life get tempted from, attracted by, mistaken by, misled by or deceived by people of shallow knowledge; by circumstances beyond our control; or get bogged down under the weight of mental worries and tension caused by situations beyond our control. Because of the distractions caused by these factors, we lose the sight of our goals, as to why we are here and what we have to accomplish in the short life span that we ae given.
Furthermore, when difficulties come to us, they do have a purpose which we cannot see, nor we can understand, nor comprehend. There is not a single soul in this entire world, who may not have faced difficulties and hardships. Adverse situations, circumstances beyond our control and mental tension come to us to test us and to train us as to how to face them, how to analyze them, how to formulate a strategy to resolve those difficulties and how not to get bogged down with tension, agony and pain during tough times. There must be a zeal, and a will to find a way out, when we are sailing through a voyage in turbulent seas. Our intention, intuition, preparedness of facing the odds, faith in higher energies, right decision and correct actions do help us in coming out safe and unhurt from difficult times. Difficulties which come in life do tech us important lessons which provide us useful experience in future. While talking about values of life, a person, rich in practical experiences can be more valuable and richer in successfully living his life than a billionaire without adequate experience.
So, the main message here is to self-motivate ourselves to look beyond the difficult times, keep calm, mainain patience, think as to how we can rise above the passing phase of hardship and devise a sound strategy to keep afloat, think and act wisely and live with faith that better days are up ahead. The well versed phrase: “These days will pass too..” can do wonders if we nurture self-confidence and awaken the sleeping motivator within us.
Here I feel motivated to recommend listening to one ghazal in which the song writer Qateel Shifai and singer Lata Mangeshkar appeal to God to fill their fate with hardships. The words of this Hindi Ghazal is : “दर्द से मेरा दामन भर दे, या अल्लाह..” (Please write my fate woven with difficulties and hardship):

I believe there may still be people who may like to ask for hardships and stanzas of difficult times in their life, so they can justify living their lives by incorporating the true values of life in their own living.
So, let us wish people who may cross our path, best wishes during their difficult times and coping with hardships so they can live a meaningful life, full of values.
Unexperienced state of Conscousness in Body-less Souls
Souls don’t speak. Even if they do, we can’t listen. Even if the listening process does work, that conversation may be occurring internally between the soul and our intellectual department in the brain, since there is no sound that falls into our ears. But the title of this article deals with only an experience which has been untold, unsung and un-listened. God does not want to reveal to the mankind His hidden ways of managing, sending and calling back souls from His abode to the Earth and vice versa.
GOD DOES NOT COME HIMSELF BUT SENDS HIS MASSIAHS
“I Am a Son of God” , acclaimed Moses. He was a solitary leader in Egypt, but one with his people who needed to be lifted, freed and needed help. Moses led the Exodus of the Israelites out of Egypt and across the stormy waters of the Red Sea.
The Never-ending Roads of Life
Where do these endless roads of life lead us?
Since ages, we have kept walking as our souls put us on the earth.
On this journey, we passed countless cross-roads that had no signs.
We met, smiled, departed and forgotten countless people
Every birth, we all, kept on changing bodies, names, and addresses.
Yet in this birth we seem strangers to all those whom we pass by.
Our parents in this birth may have met us in previous lives too.
But in up-coming births we may meet again like strangers.
PRAYERS FOR A PROSPEROUS, PEACEFUL 2023
The pandemic has left a scary scar on the motherboard of millions in mankind.
We ‘had it’ and are now ready to claim our birth-right to feel an ‘inner happiness’.
Because ‘Sat-Chit-Aanand’ (Existence, Consciousness and Bliss)
Are the fundamental natural characteristics of Atman, which is the Soul!
So now let us come closer, One and All, from all walks of life,
Walk hand-in-hand and heart to heart to offer ‘out loud’ in silent voice of our hearts
I AM LOST AND I TALKED TO GOD
And “where am I?” Perhaps, lost in the mid seas, with no directions.
I have been sailing in rough seas and high winds in my wrecked up ship.
My navigator left me years ago. She had to go and she left. I could not detain her.
I wish, she could have stayed back for me, so two souls could have left this world together.
